better than those solutions....
they make chewing "bags" or nets that hold fresh fruit in them. freeze a hunk of banana or a large strawberry....stick it in the chew bag and let them go to town. they numb the area with the cold, and chew nutrients that will help them stay strong and healthy. ultimately making the entire tooth eruption more speedy and painless since they grow faster and heal better when given proper vitamins and minerals.

My kids wore Baltic amber necklace. Same kind athletes wear to reduce joint inflammation. No excessive drooling. No crazy crying. They got a little grumpy when teething otherwise it didn’t faze them at all.

We put garlic necklaces on our kids. They reeked so bad no one could get near enough to hear the whiny little brats.
