Me too. These type of dentist don't use surgical guides cause it is too costly. Lol!

Hard to tell from the picture but make sure the analogs don't touch before you pour the stone. If meccessary reduce the analogs as needed.

Jo, they are clear from each other. They look to be touching in the image by they are clear. Gonna scan the case in on Monday or Tuesday.

I was thinking the same thing, looks like its easier to put them in at 35* than it is to do a simple sinus lift, who cares about axial loading Lol

Think that stinks, I've gotta get picture of some of the MDI crap we get sent. Sometimes looks like doc was trying to hit all 4 cardinal compass direction and going for bonus points on z-axis depth differentiation.

What was he thinking? Oh, thats for added physical retention.


I'd try going to ucla/goldadapt/whatever and slap it on a parallelometer, if you've got one handy from removable's stuff.

Supposed to be for denture stabilization, but they get used for multi-unit bridges and other "off-label" uses. These can be placed by general dentists, not just oral surgeons.
