Last week or so out of nowhere i started to notice a very thin white layer on the inside of denture after i pour , have to say i use pouring technique for few year and had none of this , maybe some bubbles here and there which were due to isolation poor quality . Last week i tried 3 different isolation comanies ( mertz , ivoclar and mega ) all bring same white lyer ( so anoying bcz i have to remove it slowly and that peocedure can harm the vaccum bcz its from the inside )
Anyone has any clue what this might be and what could cause it ?

Is that tinfoil film or acrylic blanching?

Look for what changed before you tried other things.

Something, no matter how small, has changed.

If it is blanching, I've seen it with cast too wet.
Pour technique is very finicky. Like welding, you have to keep practicing and experimenting until finally it clicks.

image.jpgI pour process 80% of my cases. This is by far my favorite separator.

The pics look more like ultra wet model or separator not bonding or both. Blanching due to sep issues usually from sep being wet while pouring acrylic and has a whiter appearance.

I agree with deture dude. I had the same issue once. Separator was not dry completely.

Would you think after all these years they would come up with a "soak" that would fill pores and be non bonding. Permanent that is.
