Hey guys, anybody have a clue what type of implant this is? I thought it was a Zimmer/hex type but it's slightly narrower in diameter (0.1mm smaller) and much longer, (2-3mm).

Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks :)

Please send this to me and I️ can measure and identify it as well as make you a kit of abutment analog and coping if you need
We are www.partmaker.com.au
We specialise in reverse engineering dental parts.

If you want best match, let us do it for you- we use high precision optical profile measuring and also scan and measure.

Don’t try guessing.

I'd ask the dentist if he knows what it is , and if he doesn't I would say, "this is a part I don't service, and it will need to be sent to be sent to a specialist at an additional cost."
Then give him the option of sending this elsewhere, or actually send it somewhere to figure out what it is. Is M. Jackson's old lab still open, I think he had mentioned they had an implant "graveyard" and could match hard to get parts.

With all the vertical struts - could this be an Astra EV?

Any chance for periapical? 5-6mm 3i certain would be best guess off of impression.

what other information do you have on it? the guy took an impression of the inside of the implant so is there a healing abutment that was on it - that may help a little...it does not look like zimmer or internal hex because as LCM mentioned the lines - what about a PA of the implant since I can send it off to a few implant folks to figure out what implant it may be- email me at [email protected] if you can get a PA

Do they have an engaging feature with those vertical lines internally?
Did not see that from their website.
