Anyone using this?

I'm trying it on some NP metal and was wondering if you need to slow cool the dentine firing, as i do with inline down to 600C.

No big deal was just asking whilst im cooking the opaque on.

I don't slow cool my dentine firing but have slowed the preheat and rise a little as I was getting a bit of heat tear, all good now. I do use cerambond from bredent on the framework after sandblasting and cleaning.

yep I use it, actually inline also, still use some inline powders with initial. I found initial WAY less fussy than inline, especially over multiple firings. Can fire initial over and over and it seems CTE and colour stable.

layered a 10 unit fixture level frame with gum the otherday with no slow cooling and no probs.

I do use inmetal bond before opaque though.

used to have all sorts of cracking probs doing that kind of job with inline.

really like initial.
