I am really amazed how this stuff has started to pop with minimal effort.

Of course my photography is limited to my Iphone but I thought this one had a great illusion of being layered.

Lmao Al.

I hired a part timer to help stain and glaze my posterior FCZ. They keep getting my Emax monolithic mixed in......;)

The brush on technique the liquid lasts forever if you dispense and do not dip your brush in the bottle, The pull date is approaching on some bottles, I wonder what will be the result as it draws near? Inconsistency of the shade?

Hi John

What do you mean exactly when you say dispense and not dip, as in do you mean you drop the liquid with a dropper onto the brush?
Thanks in advance

I have little plastic paint cups that I bought at an art supply store. I pour a little amount in them and only dip the brush in that container. I think the liquid gets contaminated when you brush on the zi and then dip back in the bottle. No sediments this way and the material last and lasts. A little goes a long way when you apply it properly.

Don't mean to steal any of your glory John but I was amazed at how batch of FCZ turned out and have to share.
Here is a Bruxzir and an e.max, shade 2m2 for both. The bicuspid had limited space, btw.

At the IDS Dr. Tanaka intoduced a new system for oainting pre-sintered FCZ . It is not acid based and they claim it penetrates better than acid based liquids . I saw some samples and I was amazed . They were done by a very talented technician , Akito Kani , and they looked like layered . Plus with this system , etching of zirconia is possible . At least this is what they claim . I ordered a sample kit for A2 , and when I get it I will post some pics .

Here is a fun case I did today, received yesterday at noon, poured/scanned by 4pm, designed at 7am today, milled by 8am, sintered by 2pm, stain/glazed and shipped by 330pm for a local client. 2 days in lab 6 unit slam dunk case FC-Zenostar,

Thanks Bob, I just wish I had room for a dedicated light-box and my real camera rather than the crappy Iphone pics I have been posting. I have a bunch of really interesting cases that I often never get to chronicle let alone do them justice with pictures.

There is always tomorrow ....
