FS: 3M LAVA ST Scanner with computer $5000

We have not regularly used the 3m LAVA ST scanner in quite a while, so its time to let it go to a new home. The scanner is in excellent working order. It comes with the windows XP Dell computer originally included with the scanner. Also included are two model holders, a custom clay/die holder, and the calibration kit. You can use this system to produce genuine Lava/Jensen products right out of the box. Or, we can translate the 3M files to stl, and you can produce pretty much any mill-able material. This scanner is located in Southern California.

We have bought and sold many of those, as well as the ST.

What are those behind the scanner, sintering ovens? I'm digging the color scheme on your products.

Yes, furnaces. I have Four new units here in crates ready for sale. 2 Year warranty.

We also do Bubble-Gum Pink and Black furnaces. They really look great in person! I have Two furnaces of each color.

I think I will add Plum-Purple soon, just for fun!

My new 5-axis wet/dry mill should be ready soon, as well as some other products, but not in time for Chicago unfortunatly.

I have always wanted to do a "Bat-Man" paint job on some toys. soon....

You can choose 2,3,5,and 8mp camera.

Scanning software is OPEN! and can be powered within our fully open version of exocad.....EXOSCAN interface, or Steinbichler software interface....or as a stand alone scanner.

First such open scanner in the US that is NOT associated with 3M or Jensen. I am distributor and soon service for these.

Mine is much better looking! LOL Maybe the darker interior would reduce some noise? It really wasn't a problem to begin with.

No yearly fees, unlike 3M and Jensen, and you are free to choose materials and all functions of exocad are unlocked. :yo:

sorry to derail your other thread scott, but what locks the lava st scanner? Is there something in the internal hardware? Can it not be opened as well?

As far as I know it cant be unlocked. Or at least too expensive to make any sense. But, running the locked version with Dental Shaper will effectively "unlock" it. There's just an extra step of translating the files to stl first.
