I've created a simple online tool to convert 3Shape DCM files to STL format. I'm making it available free of charge in case someone finds it useful. Feel free to try it out using the link below.

If you encounter any issues, please let me know. Note that there is currently a limit on upload file size due to server limitations.

Awesome...thanks for this. This is what the 3Shape users needed. By the way, i am not sure if you are the one, there was a post on facbook 3dprint group that one user created a file converter (if im not mistaken), i have requested for this feature dcm to stl. converter. Was it you by any chance?

This does seem to have been removed in newer Versions of 3Shape 3D Viewer though.

I have 2 created orders on dental system for simple or double dcm import-export.
but this should be easier

I can, at least I could when 3sheep was relevant for my workflow... I don't care much these days at all

The config files (*.3ml) are regular password protected zip files, they contain a text xml file which can be edited causing the main program to behave accordingly. If you know how to use a disassembler you can figure out the pw's in no time
