I went with the unreasonably priced one.
That way I have no choice but to raise my fees again.
I charge at least triple of the local fees, yet we're booking for October already....

So you think that's the one to go all in on? What are you using now, since you started with the photon?
I believe this printer is kicka$$ and very affordable. I'd buy one in a heartbeat, but we don't have that much volume... got a Sonic 8k for now

Creative approach to solve the problem.
He requested something, and you will give him
something.

If and when it doesn't work out, no warranty, no refund.

A man of few words must speak with dollars.

The black line is the actual crest of the ridge!

Been there done that. The only difference between my cases and this one is that the maxillary bone is still there. We treated these types of cases in early days with soldered gold bars and later with milled bars. Look up maxillectomy with implants in the zygomatic arches and pterygoid plates. I'm not sure this was the "only bone" available but it is what you have to work with. The incisive papilla is actually anterior to your black line, so I would suggest for lip support the teeth should be more anterior.

We've seen an increase of offices that expect us to finish full dentures in fully edentulous models with no bite taken.

It's happened at least 5 times in the last 4-6 weeks. All from different offices.

The baffling part, they get upset when we explain to them why it cant be done and why it is not ideal.
We've been told we're supposed to tell them these things in advance...

Sounds like they have new assistants that don't have a clue.

Return To Sender

To act upset comes from an assumption of your subjugation. You need to turn it around to what you require, not what they are willing to provide.

I recently went an hour's journey, because I got mad that I was making premium dentures and I would be working on exquisite aesthetics.
It was supposed to be a try in, and there was only bitterness.
I died inside myself when I discovered that the wax rim had no suction from the very beginning, it is rocking at all, and the patient does not even want new dentures, but to upgrade the old ones.
I'm done with it.
my skills without a good dentist mean nothing.
I will not make dentures anymore.
