Oh my! Take it back to them and make sure the Dr sees it. Did they send an opposing and a bite?!?!? Thumpdown

With something like that I take a photo text it to them saying I need a new impression. They can't argue with that.

I can't believe someone sent to him in the first place!
 
Looks like alginate that hadn't set up yet and locked around the teeth, tearing out the arch chunk. Maybe the patient started gagging, and assistant thought good enough.

Even if it's an immediate denture, and you could articulate with posterior bites, it's still crappy dentistry. You have to maintain standards. It's a redo, or a conversation about no free remake.

Doctor said assistant was sick and he had to mix the alginate himself. I have a feeling if he just picked a random patient from the waiting room to do it for him instead, he/she would have done a better job.
It's not an immediate, just crappy impression for a permanent denture. He asked if I can't conjure it up somehow, had to disappoint him.
