Job opening for a talented and well-rounded fixed technician that can act as a one-man lab in a West Seattle practice. This is an all-ceramic lab. You will be responsible for every aspect of the fabrication of ZR and Emax restorations, save milling. The position offers a competitive salary, 4 day work week, medical benefits, retirement, PTO, low production, etc.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 8 years in the field
CDT, MDC, or equivalent cert preferred but not required
Proficiency in Exocad and familiarity with desktop scanning
Must have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to identify issues and problem-solve independently
Ability to self regulate time management to meet deadlines with little to no supervision
Must be affable and comfortable dealing with high-needs patients.
Must be able to perform quality control on their own work
Must be able to create high-end anterior work.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Model work, die trimming, mounting, etc
Scanning and Designing cases (Exocad, DOF HD, Meddit)
Overall management of lab: making orders, minor equipment maintenance, pc maintenance etc,
Overseeing milling ZR by outside labs
Anterior shade taking/ matching
Intraoral photography
Fiitting/ Checking occulsion
Stain and glaze
Layering ceramic
Wax up proposals
Indirect Provisionals
Surgical guides
Bleach trays
Essex retainers
Treatment planning with the DR
Material selection
