I recently purchased the bite splint module for exocad. (To fabricate occlusal guards)
& exocad recommended "using a combination of both Bite Splint Module and Virtual Articulator for optimal patient-specific results. "

Do I really need the virtual articulator for occlusal guards? Is it necessary?
Wanted to hear your opinion first.
Thanks!

(I use exocad with a medit identica blue scanner.
The articulators I use is Panadent or Kavo.
Not sure if medit had a platform to scan these articulators.)

I use it for occlusal guards and most every other case.

Totally worth the money unless you are doing occlusal guards with glue on Orbix or Vertex. <---Sarcasmmmm

Find out if Medit makes scan plates for the Panadent and Kavo. Both articulators are in the newest version of exocad.

You tell em, Fletch :)

Willy: What the hell you need ball bearings for?
Fletch: Awww, come on guys, it's so simple. Maybe you need a refresher course.
[leans arm on hot engine part]
Fletch: Hey! It's all ball bearings nowadays. Now you prepare that Fetzer valve with some 3-in-1 oil and some gauze pads. And I'm gonna need 'bout ten quarts of anti-freeze, preferably Prestone. No, no make that Quaker State.

I didn't want to do this, but I'm going to have to pull rank on you. I'm with the Mattress Police.
