Looking for some help with creating some space between a splint and the teeth. For some reason I am not getting what I need by adjusting the offset setting.

You have the virtual articulator and bite splint modules?

Yes, I have both modules. I am however new to Exocad and have only been playing with it for a week. What I am struggling with is being able to adjust the tightness of the splint on the teeth by having an offset(space) on the whole splint.

I would scale it up the model slightly in Meshmixer or similar software before importing it into Exo

Too loose, too tight? I have some good settings I can share Monday. The fit has more to do with the path of insertion that the offset.

I have been using the splint module for sometime and have not changed the offset (didn't really understand the effect it would have) and I have been happy with the fit of the splint on the model. I am printing my splints so if you are milling then I don't know if this helps.
