Little info on the original question, we already had that for 3Shape here.
Basically, if the Doc makes 2 scans u select the one without scanbodies as the Gingiva scan and the other as alignment scan.
The Software will match the Implant Vector onto the gingiva scan so you can ideally CAD on the situational Gingiva.
If you only get the 1 Scan with the markers, you can use this scan for both alignment and gingiva scan, and then "extract" the scanmarkers from the "Gingiva Scan" ( There can be problems with extracting the Scanbodys / remaining scandata if you don't select gingiva scan in 3shape, that's why we do it this way ).
It's a bit counter intuitive.
