Essix retainer for mouth with no undercuts

What do you guys do in a situation like this? No matter which machine I have used, the essix always comes out loose.

It’s a fairly rare occurrence (maybe 5%) but what it technically the best solution here?

Maybe scrape the model a tiny bit to make the essix a little tighter.
