Hi,
I am trying to help a dental technician with a problem he has with his D250 scanner:
He has been using a 3shape D250 Scanner which had been working smoothly until a few days ago when it started failing in the second stage of the scanning with an error “server error. encoder reading failed”.
This error has not been happening on every scan, but when it does happen retrying does not seem to help. If we try to re-scan directly, an error shows up talking about the linear motor being in position “x”. (Two of those times we checked the position of the linear motor and its values were: 72.2 and 72.7 ). If we start the whole process again and try to scan the same area the error occurs again.
It's probably a long shot, but has something similar occurred to anyone else? If yes, could you please share your knowledge of any solutions, or workarounds, to it (if there are any, that is)?
Thank you,
Aris
