Yeah, I just spoke with 2 dental offices(in Ontario) and they said that they have been advised to close unless it's an emergency.

I know we are all "adults" here, but these threads could use less trolling. This thread in particular.

While the World Health Organization (WHO) declared COVID-19 a pandemic, the degree to which this pandemic affects each region in Canada varies immensely; in all circumstances, dentists take infection prevention and control practices seriously and understand their social responsibility to contain the spread of COVID-19. While science provides solid recommendations about what dentists should do, advice needs to reflect provincial as well as local contexts. Therefore, the Canadian Dental Association suggests that:

Dentists: Given the rapidly evolving COVID-19 situation, dentists licensed to practise in Canada are asked to consult the website and communiqués of the dental regulatory body in their province/territory, as well as the website and communiqués of their provincial/territory dental association.

General Public: Canadians and people in Canada are asked to consult the public website and communiqués of their provincial/territory health authorities.
So far it appears that provincial bodies are responsible for suggestive office closures.
I think it's safe to assume the other provinces will follow suit

" I know we are all "adults" here, but these threads could use less trolling. This thread in particular. "

Feel free to offer some substantive information to this or any other thread .

Do you know if this is a request, voluntary, or State Board mandatory direction?
From what I’ve been told they all received a fax or email last night or early this morning. I don’t know if it’s a recommendation or mandatory but all the offices we do work for are closing.
