E58 Error Ref Switch

Hello all, lost my reseller and was looking into solving this switch issue on my VHF K5. I keep getting this error for my mill sometimes after a tool is picked up and some times before a tool is picked up? It will usually go to middle above puck then error out. I can restart and everything will work so not sure which switch or if its weak signal. Any suggestions?

The switch pulls the potential to ground.
Disconnect the cable from the board and measure the resistance to ground.
Activate the switch and move the cable.
I had a defective cable on a K4 in the past.

I'm not much of a electrical engineer, so when u say ground, you mean i should check for continuity at the end of the cable once disconnected from the board?
This is a K5 and I get error76,23 and 58 depending on the time of occurrence. I have replaced the switches in the past, I have no idea which one needs replacing. I can say that upon starting a job it will turn the puck sideways and the frame the puck holder is in will hit that switch multiple times followed by the spindle referencing to the X axis and the puck holder will keep starting to turn but goes sometime like 10 time before it turns to level, then starts with the tool pickup? Would I have to have the machine on to check this? TIA
