Dynamic abutments work very well, if a little expensive. Another option would be having the framework milled, it would probably work out cheaper than 5 Dynamic abutments. A number of companies can angle correct the screw holes if needed.

If the framework was milled , screw wholes wouldn't be lingual ! Would it?

if the screw holes are angle corrected, then yes, the holes would be on the lingual side.

I'm missing something here, we'd still need a custom screw drive, right?

It uses a so called "dynamic screw" which needs that screw driver. It doesn't matter if is a Ti base, milled abutment or a UCLA type.

Multi-unit abutment, from Nobel or some other company who may have another name for their versions.

A more cost effective alternative, that is FDA approved, which means it has gone through extensive fatigue and compression testing and also debonding test is from DESS USA. Dynamic has neither FDA approval so no validation and even the design with a taller wall does not provide you any benefit when it comes to the restoration. 32331

Thanks for the PDF, always interesting to read about different solutions
Does Dess provide a binding protocol and recommended cement, possible more information which was used for the debond force test please.

Cheers JD
