Better than knowing how to wax by hand is knowing tooth morphology and how the design of the tooth functions with other teeth in the mouth. Also getting a good understanding of jaw movements will be much more valuable. In the digital world, everyone is working with teeth molds and there are a lot of good ones out there. What sets you apart is how you set them up to function with the other teeth and the jaws envelope of motion.

understanding tooth morphology, form, and function are critical if youre trying to stand out over the cookie cutter lab options in the market today. otherwise, whats your selling point to beat out glidewell and the other big dogs?

imho, knowing the fundamentals are the building blocks for a solid laboratory experience. maybe im just old
