Hello all, I have a issue with the NP interface being milled and sintered, into Zr screw retained, but it's too big. The 4.3 fits into it and the 3.5 is sloppy, bucket on a post. I am not sure as all the other stuff milled and sintered fits?? I have the libraries from EXOCAD site and I believe I replaced them with DESS libraries? Is there any way to confirm proper sizes in the files?
TIA Mike

Dess recently released a new file that changed the size of that part. As a side note, download from manufacturer when possible. That assures you of the most recent files.

Wow thanks for the help! These change often? Why do they change and why are we not informed.
I called them and they mentioned a couple changes were made to libraries i installed in march of this year. Why why why…. And we need to be FDA compliant, I am positive the FDA would have as much a chance of finding there A$# in the dark with both hands before they could figure out all the implant configurations, software and firmware we have to navigate to get a restoration. Well at least I can still be compliant buying original stock abutments and grind by hand to make a to base dr can cement to.
Makes me want to switch to a different supplier. If any one of our labs switch even the crown boxes, dr is on our collective as$3$$3s that now the occlusions are all high🤣
Rant over, please remember to tell your supplier, if there is a change we should be informed.
My 2 cents

Totally agree, but this is standard for many implant companies. So many times I start getting errors trying to design an implant case and after wasting a bunch of time and calling tech support, I find out that I need to install the latest DMEs. There should be an alert anytime DMEs are updated.

They dont change that often, but Dess has been leading the way with a lot of new products so the library gets updated with the changes, Im not sure if they changed the physical abutment or just the library, but it sounds like if you bought a new abutment and used the old library, then its physically different.. Now I guess I have to go back and find an old library for all the old stock of dess abutments I have collecting dust..

One awesome new thing with dess is that you can mill authentic nobel custom preforms on the dess fixture! Just bought my first 2 Party
