So the Dekema 654 showed up. I plugged her in and turned her on. Error after error...
"Press Force Measurement Failed
Please contact your service provider"

No matter a fire, press, or diagnostic program I receive the error when the oven closes.

So Jensen tells me something was damaged during shipping.

So the new oven to replace the new oven arrived. I pulled it outa the box and knew right away it wasn't new. I entered 1492 into the service thingy and ready that it was packed by the company in march But in May quite a few pressing cycles were ran. Its got fingerprints all over it, dings and scratches, stickers falling off, and just not new.
Im pissed for them wasting my time.
If I bought a new Ipad and I opened it to find a 5 year olds PB&J fingerprints, and several angry bird downloads on it, I would be consider it USED! Not NEW!
Why would we pay MSRP for a USED oven?
Would you pay MSRP for a USED car no matter good or great condition? If it aint MINT, it aint MSRP!

And the Programat 5000 loaner showed up so I gota cool down and pack up the Programat for repair, ug...
The Dekema is programmed to our needs, im currently running the calibration just for piece of mind...

Today I had the pleasure of meeting the guy that ran this place for ten years. Hell of a guy. But he has his own thing going on. So no chance of having him back. But after he left, I looked at my ceramist and said, "See, we'll find another like him. And all will be well."

Al referred me to a constituent of his from Brooklyn that I hope to meet maybe next week. I know the owner was busy all week but told me he will call this guy today or Monday.

So the search continues, as far as meeting this previous ceramist today, on a personal level, I was impressed. Just humble and flat out nice guy.
