Custom Bluecam?

I have a 2010 bluecam on 3.85 that I tried upgrading to the following:

ASUS Z97-AR motherboard
Intel 4790K cpu

Fresh install windows 7pro sp1 64bit. All drivers were installed properly & the MATRIX VISION mvBluefox (kernel driver version 2) showed up fine in the device manager. However, every time I ran the software it said the camera could not initialize. Is Serona checking for matching hardware or am I just missing something?

Anybody? This makes me think its very possible since the case is so small it's not a full sized motherboard inside!

are you sure there is no problem with the camera? or the cable? or frame grabber?

But.... why? Bluecam is objectively horrible.
