Did anyone have a chance to check out CubeX2 from DAL?
Or any of the new zironias?

Thanks T

How does it absorb color? Other trans 600 -700 mpa zrs are difficult to pre-stain and hold color

It did much better than the others I have tried. You have to go a shade darker. I still applied certain incisals that I use etc., but was able to get great results.

It makes regular translucent Zr look horrible.

Glazed up sample I received at lab day. Would like to see a pic in the mouth.
The #19 unit is ZX2 and the #3 is cubeX2. Not the best photos.

Hey all,

CAP is selling CubeX as well and we are doing a killer starter kit promotion. 6 x 12mm, 2 x 14mm, and a full liquid kit for $995 (one per lab only)

Check it: Link

The stuff looks great.

SAM.

Can you share what is included in the liquid kit and if its acid or water based. Does this material come in thicker disks

Thanks

It's a water based liquid made for CubeX and has pigment in it (similar to ZZ). The kit as far as I know comes with all 16 shades, modifiers, and even some tiny brushes for people who like to paint on color.

It comes in all 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, and 25mm.

The CubeX2 is on the normal firing parameters of Bio Zx2 and is compatible with the monolith zero staining, only difference as Jason mentioned is that the shading is done one shade darker than on BioZ. So A1 cubex uses the a2 liquid. We have introduced + shades for a4+, etc. to use on the darker shades. We will be at the Dental Direkt booth at IDS if anyone from North america is attending.

Hey Tad,

We are taking pre-orders now just over the phone and will be shipping once the FDA gives us the thumbs up. People tell me it should be any day now...

I thought it looked nice and plan to send a couple to DAL to see what it looks like. I also liked the Zirkan Zahn.

Here's question that I'm sure absolutely nobody cares about but me
Does anyone know why it was called Cube X2?
Cube X could have been expressed as X3?
Should it be read like this,....Cube X squared?
I'm guessing that it has something to do with it's molecular structure
Yeah,...I drive everybody nuts Dontknow
