Show us your crucibles. Show me yours and I'll show you mine. Well not quite mine. It's amazing what some folks use. I'll start with these. And from the looks of things they're well used.

I've spent so much time getting my FGC crucible "seasoned" that I'd probably cry if it broke.

All I can say is WOW.......wonder what kind of business uses those crucibles, and for what use......

How about that for some sick crucibibles?

Three are out of service.

I also season mine with flux and get them shiny.

I like old ones over a dry new one.

I use Alumina/Zirconia units from Bell de St. Clair

I preheat mine in the burnout oven, then before casting I put the metal in them, then back into the burnout oven for a few minutes.

Metal melts fast and easy, even NP for our outsourcing labs whom we scan-print-cast-finish for. ($15.95 for that!)

The ladies took some pics while we were at it, but I don't think John would like them very much. Send a PM to get CC'd on the pics of some of our ladies! (Not you John.)

Scott, your one wild and crazy kinda guy. You had me laughing before the pictures even loaded up. BTW you really need to go to the Doc and have him take a look at your crucibles. I'm certain if they look like that it can't be good. Maybe he'll give you an injection or something, those things are nasty looking.

This site should be 50% entertainment, and 50% Tech help/info.

I don't think the owner (Travis) and John realize this. It generates traffic!

You guys enjoy life! Live it up@##%$%

WHOOOT! You will never see me on Dental Town.

I got board in 10 minutes there.
