Hi!
I have friend which have got a big issue with his 3 shape scanner D700. We want to change computer to windows 10 64 bit operating system with 64 bit hardware.. We have failed a many times. We have read about the scanner only can be used at usb 2.0 alone at Usb hub. We have also bought a dedicated usb 2.0 card, but that did not also work. We have also tried with several Scanserver versions.
The issue is that we are not able to calibrate.

What I would to have help from the community is if there are some who have D700 scanner working against Windows 64 operating system and if they have could write down the hardware specifikation for that computer here at the community. It can also be computermodel if it exist and which Scan server are used.
Specification may include cpu, memory, kind of memory, memory manufacturer, motherboard model.

I'm running a D700 (and a rexcan DS3 Gold) on a HP 700-215xt with Win 7 64-bit OS and a GeForceGT720. The only additional hardware is a 1394 card to run the cameras on the Medit.

here is your problem, im having the same issue. Check your usb 2.0 card for win 10 compatibility .. mine wasn't.. because most that are compatible are 3.0.. so, get a 5 port 3.0 card, and run everything BUT the scanner through that, and leave the onboard usb for the scanner.

Also what type of PC is it and graphics card, the graphics card is usually the problem.. maybe that's not compatible in WIN 10. They really mucked up the compatibility in that version.

D700 on a Dell 8900XPS windows 10 64bit no issues. I think the whole usb2.0 is on the older scanner D900 and below, looks like D1000,D2000 and E series might be good on 3.0 usb.

yeah I cant get the 710 to work on the 3.0 hub. I have 2 xps dells, an 8500 and 8900 I think, the 8900 has more 3.0 ports, but its giving me the middle finger with the scanner.. too many other things connected.

I have tried with that. Moved everything except the scanner and also controlled the usb port to be usb 2.0
