can anyone help me with a few questions im struggling with on practice exams for comprehensive cdt exam?

1. When torch soldering, which part of the flame should be used?
A.mixing
B. Reducing
C. Combustion
D. Oxidizing

A few more ill post if anyone can help. My answer keys give different answers to the same question. Confusing.. If this doesnt work im back to digging in the air force manuals... Haha

Google says reducing zone.. One answer key says reducing, one says combustion. Im leaning towards reducing zone.

When taking multiple choice questions, there are usually a couple in there to throw you off. start by eliminating the obvious. The whole flame is combustion. That ones not going to work. Im not just going to give you answers yet...you need to learn how to take tests; not just what the answers are.








Mixing is part of the torch, not the flame. (clue)

When taking multiple choice questions, there are usually a couple in there to throw you off. start by eliminating the obvious. The whole flame is combustion. That ones not going to work. Im not just going to give you answers yet...you need to learn how to take tests; not just what the answers are.

most of the questions will come out of the gold finishing and casting for the C&B written

Hey i passed. Thanks for your advice.. I used process of elimination for a few questions i was unsure about. On to the practical exam.

Does anyone have the airforce manuals, I cant seem to get my hands on one. I have 3 techs getting ready to take the test.

the ones from NADL are bs... don't spend the money.
just read the airforce manual.. u will do fine
