Sorry this might be a silly question, this is my first post on DLN. I was wondering if it is possible to clean off the excess dust that builds up on the burs you use in the green state to cut out the crowns and smoothing off the sprues?

Steam them with a steamer.
I also use alumina oxide wheels to finish down the sprues etc.

Why use a bur to smooth a zirconia crown? I would switch to a blueberry or rubberwheel, I use pacific abrasives alox rubber wheels to smooth and a very small .5mm round bur to desprue.
If theyre getting caked up it means its the wrong tool for the job.

Greetings Eaethling! Welcome!

Don't worry that your question is silly, nobody gets where they are without asking questions.
