Do you remember the basic support parameters that we learned before?
This time we will go ahead with the top section support.
The top section can be divided into the tip part and the main part.
Let’s take a closer look at each!
️The Top Tip Part:
Contact Shape: The shape of the support tip. There are None and Sphere for choice.
Contact Depth: The depth of the support tip stretching into the model.
Contact Diameter: The diameter of the contact area of the sphere and the model. Note that this parameter is only shown under the sphere contact shape.
️The Top Main Part:
Upper Diameter of Main Part: The upper diameter of the top main part of the support.
Lower Diameter of Main Part: The lower diameter of the top main part of the support.
Main Part Shape: The cross-sectional shape of the top main part of the support.
Main Part Length: The length of the top main part of the support.
Max Angle with Z-axis: The maximum angle between the support top and the Z-axis. The default value is 70°. That means the supports over the setting angle will not be generated.
