whats the latest? can you import a cerec scan into 3shape without have to pay?

You can convert some of the older ones to STL but you require the sirona license to then export the file. The doctors we have send to us with the new Primescan can do it directly from their scanners. As mentioned above^

But for labs to do it themselves, there IS a workaround! Drs with the new primescan have 1 license they can "give" to a lab - basically they give you their license key, you buy a $100 dongle from Sirona, and you can use Sirona's "Connect Case Center" inbox to view and download Sirona orders from Drs. (this is just to view and download cases, NOT the full inLab design software).

We just implemented this, been waiting for this for years, it's about time Sirona made a way for labs to get STLs without having to pay 20k for a piece of machinery they don't want.

yes pipes thats the way we were told to do it by sirona but i payed for the software anyway as i didnt want to be beholdin to the dentist that gave me their key.it was about $2000
