Would you use Panavia SA or Multilink when cementing zirconia to the TI base?

Panavia V5 works great too. Plus you have some options on the shades

We've been using Panavia SA for Zi+Ti with no issues, so far (kow).

Have used Duo-Link "Milky White" , Bisco, for years now, like the abilty to light "Freeze" due to it being a dual cure. Never had any issues. Also use a whitening agent if need be on the Zirconia in green state, B&D White #2, works wonders. Thanks to Sevan P. for that tip!!! 🙂

Both Multi Link HO0 and panavia SA white both with monobond plus as primer. I prefer Panavia SA better handling properties. and easier to clean up.

If using Panavia SA to cure TI base to the zirconia crown... it doesnt indicate and bonding liquid is necessary... Is the primer absolutely necessary for TI base to bond to zirconia

Yes, primer, or in Ivoclar's case Monobond, is necessary.

If I remember, panavia is much more expensive, but dont quote me on that. Ive used both and multilink is much faster as you dont have to mix a two part activator like panavia.. The bond is mechanical so most any cement will work similarly in my experience. You have to fire them to get them to come apart and even then, they are usually stuck.

Link ace here as well in BO shade. We micro blast with 50mic oxide we use gc metal primer on the ti base after blasting and we FOLLOW THE FLIPPING IFU for the gc cement. YES read the damn instructions they tell ya what to do :)

This stuff sticks like glue if you follow a CLEAN and consistent protocol.

I think all the above cements work well so long as you follow the directions. I have always used Multilink with no issues.

The representative from Kuraray told me that the Panavia SA Universal has the primers built directly into the cement paste. All sales aside, i just need to be confident if I use this product, it will be alright. I am thinking on saving on getting a primer and the effort of doing it (even minimal as it is).
