I came in this morning to do some equipment maintenance...got a burnout unit which needs a new thermocouple. So, I look inside and there's a ring left from yesterday Banghead....even the weighted alloy is left next to the oven. I want to cast it to save time...now the question is: do I just reheat the ring as is, or it needs to be wet before it goes back in the oven ? It completed the burnout cycle before the oven was turned off yesterday...Bird

Please check if there's any crack on the ring,if no crack you're good to go.
