can anyone recommend me a pattern adhesive? the one i use tends to give me too much flash after casting, even if i water it down a bit.

and also....can anyone recommend a liquid paint on where i can paint on to my completely waxed up partial pre-investment so that i will have clean castings?
has anyone tried Nobilcoat Liquid Paint on from Patterson?

thanks in advance.

currently i'm using the Nautilus for my casting.

Follow manufacturers instructions all the way through - temps, mix ratios, times etc.. Get back to basics.
Techniques should be accurately carried out - you should easily discover where you're introducing errors.

.apols.
flash is usually evidence of technique fluctuation/errors and expansion control.
Can you obtain Shera investments? German material - excellent stuff, no pre-vest needed. Great castings.
If silicon duplication is done and models are dried/warm no adhesive needed.
Otherwise austenal do a good adhesive - goes with the vitallium system.
I'm sure there are more ideas /opinions out there.

Paint-on not needed with this stuff - Sheracast
SHERA : SHERA Great investments.
Investment is put directly onto wax pattern with no rough casts resulting.
Here's an example - sprues cut off and edges trimmed - blasted clean for photo.

here's a handy reference info sheet if it helps anyone
