But can you mill one piece abutments with those outputs luke?
As dentaleng said Delcam have programed each interface separately.
it mills similar to how procera do it.

i have made it so that the abutment file can be milled on its own, one piece. it bonds with the titanium base, so technically the abutment is two pieces but the milling file is one .stl file which i nest.

I think you are crazy. WTF are you talking about joe?

Why do you need a model file ready to mill?

You are designing One piece abutments huh? Show me the bottom interface screen-shot.

I think you are cornfused about this topic. Sending files to Atlantis is nothing to brag about.

IMO, it is a waste of money with very little room for profit. (not to mention using Dentsply)

although exocad can export the complete file as one piece, the .stl should be used to align the interface and screw channel geometries in your CAD software. this can also be done (preferably - with better results) using the construction info file. here's a part that was designed in exocad:

and the resulting abutment cut on the D5:

Whith Exocad, you can also use another open library, the DDG library ...

Ztech

The scanbodys are very easy to realize ....

If you are interested, you can contact them or I can send it to you if you have a dropbox account ! (30 Mo)

You can also use ZZ library ....

See you soon !

must be magic, This is out of 3shape, no I would not mill to the geometry on the stl file, exocad can do the same, boy are they a pain to work with. what a good mill software works with is the xml file that is output with the design

Geomagic, blender or others ....
Check the dimensions of the original
You can also simply remove the groove bottom , it's useless ...

Good luk !

But take care guys their are different screw fits between titanium and " fullzirkon" abutments, titanium is conical and zirkon flat so you have to look what kind of placeholder is in the database deposited.
