Call from doctor

this morning a long time dr of our calls up and tells my boss
I have interest in getting a intra- oral scanner
Boss replies that's great what scanner are you thinking of
Dr says I saw it denied the other day
You can scan implants from bone or fixture level
I know you can scan abutment but he was attiment that you could scan prior to abutment and it would propose a custom abutment in place
Can anyone shed any light on the overwhelming info out account supplied us with

He probably saw the scan with the scan body in place. Once that is scanned ,you can design the abutment.

He may have seen Implant Studio as well.

He is claiming this can be done thru 3-shape?

If you haven't already committed to a re-seller, see if Ivoclar has any promotions. The last one I saw a couple of weeks ago were their 4th quarter specials of zero percent interest for 3 years on scanners (3Shape) and mills. They are a excellent company to work with, as well as their tech support. Maybe something to consider?
