Any of you have expirence with cable tensioning on the Roland DWX-50? we have been dealing with parting lines since day one. i have been told that the process is not too difficult and just requires a tensioning tool of some sort. any help or guidance would be appreciated. thanks

Not hard to do, you have to remove covers depending on the axis you want to check (X,Y,Z). You do need the special tool, only Roland has it. I am a trained tech and I have the service manual if you need help

Hi RCKSTR,

Do you still have the service manual for the DWX50? We had ours serviced about a year ago and now we have that 'clunk' when the spindel is over the work area.

Thanks in advance,
Eric

So where can I get a collet for Roland 50 without selling my lab to do it?
