I have a solid white gold screw retained central in the lab right now. SOLID METAL not an open facing like yours. God I love peoples decisions.

Yeeeaaahhh boy! I'll bet a $50 some purple drank will grace the shiny exteriors of that crown on the first day.

I bet the patient is from Mexico, I saw quite a few restorations like that down there. Specially in the southern states.

Nice! We should do them all like that. What's the gold charge?

A bit of BLING

Had a guy ask for this some time last year, sent in his own stones one square one round, We designed the job in cad and milled it in pmma to be cast. Once it was finished we sent it off to a specialist jewelers to have the stones set.

Pete, out of interest how did they set the stones- particularly the one through the ceramic ? Also do you have to put a thin coat of wax over pmma to stop the investment cracking ? Thanks

Really don't know how the stones where set, we found them through a google search of jewelers who specialise in setting stones in strange things. They set some in a pair of Nike shoes for Beckham lol. We would have done it our selfs but get an insurance certificate for over 5k from the surgeon so we thought we would send them out, only cost £100 and a shed load of piece of mind. No wax over the pmma just a really slow burn out for us.
