Hey, I've two different sources on this and they disagree.

Is B100 really really white like B1 or does it come closer to A1?
I know b59 is supposed to be a substitute for b100, and it's closer to A1 as well.
Please. I have to order the teeth today, of course.

Edit: Hoping someone has a Bioblend guide and can eyeball it for me.

The conversion chart I have from Dentsply indicates B1 in vita classical, 2m1 in 3d, B59 in bioform ,P11 in portrait and T2 in trueblend.

I have that too, but the b59 is what worries me as it is A1 effectively.

Of course my B1 shade tab is missing but had a posterior laying around. Kind of looks in between but closer to B1. Biggest difference is the b100 is much more translucent towards the incisal. Pic I took with my iPhone, so it may not really show any difference. Haha image.jpeg

Bioblend ugh hate that shade guide hold it at arms length and 2/3rds the guide seems interchangeable. Also I always tend to see a green shade in bioblend.

That's about the same as the Chromascop guide, very little difference between the shades in each group.

Which is why I didn't bother to get one, just this one guy uses it every now and then against my wishes. He's nearing retirement and his son has better, um... manners, in this respect.

The only reason I have one is a Dr across the street retired and the Dr who bought his practice asked me if I wanted his old shade guides. When I got them, on the outside of the box of the Bioblend one was the name of the lab where I got my start in 1986. The man who owned the lab passed away several years ago. I will keep the guide.

Funny how objects kick off our memories. I have a McDonalds Free coffee sticker thing that was given me that I hang on to because I'll never see the person who gave it to me again.
