Hi,
What is the best and most accurate investment for gold inlays?
Fujivest II worked quite well for us with all variants of gold percentage we fed it.

I'll second Fuji Vest II, used it for years in the days of the dark arts of casting metal.
Very consistent once you get the powder/liquid ratio dialed in.

We used to use some red colored investment from Whip-Mix for full cast stuff. It was super accurate and really soft, but that was back in the days of metal rings with liner and I doubt it’s strong enough to use ring-less

Did you do a summer and a winter ratio, or was that just here where we have seasons?

No, it's mostly hot an humid here, just changed the ratio according to the density of the metal being cast.

It was called Beauty Cast, I think.

That stuff was really nice for gold. You could let it cool for a bit after casting, but while it was still hot enough to quench,
and the investment would pretty much break away from the inlay/crown. The inlays or crowns would come out with a 1/2 polished look.
You're also right in that is was only for rings and liners back in those days. Nice stuff though.
