Sounds about right. We are currently implementing the fee guide. The time studies are quite accurate to achieve the numbers they did. The insurance companies are aware of the fee guide. Good on the Association Of Registered Techonologist of Ontario. Keep up the good work. Hope all the labs with the undercut mentality will wake up now and do the right thing and follow the guide.

I took a huge hit when I attempted to implement the last guide. I'm not disputing the numbers based on the time study but there is still quite a jump from where I am.
$110/hr is fair. I'm about 60-75/hr. My marina is around 150/hr.

Yeah, good luck...Banghead
when Shaw,Classic, and all the other franchise factories change course then maybe I'll get on board but until then the adto will have to do a better job at convincing me that things will be different this time.

A pinned model is $ 40.47??
I would like to see how that's possible.

I'm totally interested how they came up with these fee's.

The fees are based on a time study broken down to minutes /task.
Enter 110.00$/hr and you get those resullts.

What I would like is the formula. Then I can enter my own hourly rate.

It takes into account labour, shipping, overhead, depreciation, materials etc. Basically a similar way the Dentist fee guide was established. I do not understand why people find this so outrageous. We are licensed professionals, accountable to the College just as the Dentists are and should be accordingly.

I'm not too far from that price. For pfm I'm around $410-$420 including gold. The ADTO is doing good work here. It's all about getting the insurance companies and dentists used to these fees.

Thanks for sharing.
Shaws charges $149.00 I'm sure the other box labs are there too. I still feel the divide is between the big and small labs.
How is the ADTO addressing this?
