Hello there, another case I thought might be worth sharing. Patient is TV presenter, I repeated the case twice.

This patient had A3.5/A3 6 anteriors and we made B1, she wanted veneers, and we managed to give her no prep veneers done over refractory. Dentist sent me models and we suggested to do gingivactomy only, she had a minor gummy smile.

Patient wanted semi flat and square teeth, with no anatomy (I did't like this idea) but we had to do our mock up according to her request.

Picture 1: Original smile 12068840_10153564435265516_1119264336552418739_o.jpg

Picture 2: Mock up 11782373_10153564435275516_7091095144211862564_o.jpg

So me and the dentist told the patient we prefer a rounded shape so her teeth profile looks smaller. And we guaranteed her, if she didn't like them we will repeat it for free. (wasn't smart because she didn't like them but have a look guys)

Picture 3: No prep, Gingivactomy and cords for impression

Picture 4: First set of veneers, which we loved but patient insisted she want them like mock up (flat and squared). but it was worth the try!

What do you guys think? that was the first session of veneers? without cementation and only during try in.

So here is the second set of veneers which she liked and cemented.

Picture 5: 2nd set of veneers according to mock up.

Thank you for your time guys, give me your feedback!

P.S pictures were all taken by the dentist.

Very nice! My style would be more rounded for female as well. I could see how she would like style more similar to design she had for a less dramatic change. Tough break for the promise though. I did similar design for young female once to replace veneers she was unhappy with. She was so disturbed a by it she made her own adjustments with a fingernail file to flatten anteriors and extreme points on canines which matched her natural teeth, which wasn't communicated to me as her preference. Her work was actually quite impressive for her approach and experience, so I copied her design and she was very happy. Please keep posting.

I agree with the patient,,, square. The second round set is very wide looking.
My opinion, I would compromise and use the square set and round off distal incisal edges of centrals.
Next I would open up/round off incisal embrasures slightly by rounding off mesial of incisal edge from the facial.
#10 is drifting distally... may need to add width to #11 to correct.......
Don't mean to seem so critical, but to me the second set is huge looking and the square set is just to square.....
I think the patient will like a softer look even if you only round off distals of centrals........

fyi beautiful case on both designs :)

Thank you Charless007 and Dentalmike, I love hearing feedback, of course I would improve more on this case, seeing my pictures from time to time makes me realise what to improve next time in upcoming cases. I don't just work to fix and earn, I work because I enjoy learning.

Nice work!
I just hate seeing the words No-Prep and Veneers in the same sentence.

Me too, but those cases are more like a challenge. with prepped veneers adapting margins is better for hygiene.

great result, These are the type of cases that should be no-prep. I think it looks very natural. What is the material?

Thank you sir! I am out of the office now so can't recall the material, it must be either Creation CC or Vita VM9 since I only use these for refractory, refractory material is GC cosmotech.
