3Shape Maryland Bridges

I've watched a couple older videos on designing Maryland Bridges in 3Shape and I did make a couple of bridges years ago but just can't seem to do it now. Guess I burnt up those brain cells a while ago. I'm setting up my case with the abutment wings as table top crowns with a pontic. Everything seems to go well but continually get the message, "Failed to morph the anatomy shape to its die interface." I've moved the pontics around a bunch but can't seem to get past this step. Not sure how to resolve. I'm running 2023 designer. any help is much appreciated.

There’s like five different ways to set these up and the way I’ve had the least amount of issues was setting the wings up as onlays. Unfortunately every way I’ve tried though has some issues, even the onlay method, but it’s mostly stable.

I just did one of these and it took forever, I think the easiest way is to call customer support and have them set it up for you but I wasn’t smart enough to do that.

All I did was set it up like a 3 unit bridge and moved the margins where I wanted them manually. It wasn’t exactly simple but I managed to do it and I’m an idiot.

I set case up as an onlay and after a lot of shifting and tweaking and several attempts the margins finally attached. Thanks @KingGhidorah and @CatamountRob for the help. Much appreciated.

I just did one a couple days ago and had similar issues. Tabletops has worked int he past, but not for this case. I modified the order so the wings were simple copings. That worked for this case. I have always hated these restorations.

design is one thing.... having to mill one as in zirconia...i really don't like it either too...
