Expensive license fees, not able to fit full articulators, outdated by almost a decade now. Not the best option for 1 man lab. Whats your budget?

$2000 wont even cover your license fees for one year, let alone the scanner which is averaging about $5000 on ebay for a used one (with no pc/or dongle),no software. Software will cost you another $5000, pc-$1000, dongle.. dont ask.. actually dont ever buy one without a dongle!

I hate to say but you wont find anything for $2000. Youre looking at $4500 minimum for exocad, you can find a used amann scanner for $2-2500.

or this, if you lowball you might get for around $2000 but still needs license activated, not sure of price on that. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Dental-Win...424637?hash=item23d0c4f73d:g:X3YAAOSwn~BeP6Rw

You might be better off leasing something.

However if someone is selling one for $2000, id be worried theres something wrong with it, theyre giving it away.

If it comes with a PC/ dongle/ software, Id say take it, thats a steal.. But if you get it, and you havent seen it in action.. you can plan on spending a lot more than $2k to fix it.

If you're in the U.S. lease a E1 scanner from Argen (scan box program). No dongle or licensing fees, and it can at least get you started until you can afford to get what you're looking for.

The only condition with Argen is that you send them 10 units a month, and it does not include the design software, just scanning. So you'd have to send that file out for design.
