It won't hurt I will tell you this much. But it the bites are way off calibration alone will not help, might need to have plab run on the scanner for a fresh new scanner setup.

So far, like you, I haven't had high occlusion problems, especially in my case since I started equilibrating pre-scan and sticky waxing casts together.
It's been very consistent, pretty much spot on.

Funny and Agree. Things got a whole lot better once I stopped using those.

How do you handle cases where you have an edentulous arch? For these cases, after they are mounted, I make a bite using Sil-Tech. Then I scan the bite instead of the opposing model. I always find that the articulation isn't as accurate as when I scan the models for normal cases.
