Hello lab techs, looking for an accurate printer for crown and bridge models , any suggestions?

ok, so now I have 1 more reason to unpack it and set it up...
what I have been "most" interested in is being able to overlay different colors on a single build...
this is a great Hobby printer, and I haven't had a "controlled" environment to fully realize what it can do until now...

if the Renfert works as advertised, I see a lot of potential with it..
for me, I would use it as a base for esthetic wax-ups, or an emergency model print..

worst case, I'd print the lost city of Atlantis and embed it in a resin/wood table that was dug out of a garbage bin.

Does anyone have any data on this? Im not looking for anything but a contact and occlusion checker so these would be perfect. Just under 3k to not tie up my printer and be able to slam out models all day.

We went with a Desktop Health (EnvisionTec) Einstein for model printing and use the EnvisionTec E-Model Light DLP. Out of the box it's been great and have started getting nice results with removable die.

I can attest that 50 microns is sufficient for fixed model printing.

Took a leap of faith with a limited choice of approved resins. I didn't see the appeal at first but I see the flip side now; these materials have been thoroughly tested and experimented with by the company itself, meaning that the user is getting the most out of what the printer is capable of with a given resin.

Desktop Health seems to take that part very seriously.

So when you go with a brand that offers their few select resins, make sure you feel comfortable with the company behind it.

I have 2 years of model printing.

I haven't had any problems with my Nextdent 5100. The only downfall is printing same day prosthetics for surgery(AOX) takes a long time(almost 2hrs). C&B no problem, models and temp prosthetics no problem.
