I have about ~10lbs (need to weight it on my scale at home) of non precious alloy. It’s been sitting in my storage for 10 years.
If you are interested let me know and I’ll let it go for great price.
Very interesting concept. I can see it being more useful in a dental office where an assistant can be quickly trained to finalize a design and print a temp or mill a final crown.
Took it for a quick spin. It was little longer than claimed one minute but overall quite impressive.
Serious question...
If you’re mechanically inclined it is easy to do.
The problem is you need access to service program (which you can’t get) to recalibrate the new stepper motor and encoder.
I feel your pain and frustration.
Best of luck,
Sorry to read about the issues you are experiencing.
First of all, I would check to make sure you have enough compressed air pressure running to your machine. I’m sure that this isn’t the problem but check and rule it out.
Error E0447 in my experience points to your axis stepper motor encoder...
Can’t speak for motion 2 or 3 but I have had my mikro 5X for three years now.
First year of ownership was great. Quiet, fast and accurate.
Second year, with about 250 hours of use (I’m a one man show) I had to have z axis stepper motor and encoder replaced. This was last summer.
Now at about 460...
I think all of the above mentioned furnaces are great. I personally use Dekema and it’s great!
It sucks to hear you weren’t given needed attention to get your work done.
Anyway if your furnace is in good condition (no bad heating elements or thermocouple) make sure you have consistent power /...
It’s ‘whatimplantisTHAT.com’.
Yeah, as I have stated above, that’s the first place I checked. Thanks anyway though.
It’s getting late. Time to go home.
Thank you for your reply.
I think Jo Chen nailed it. I drove over to my client and we both think it’s NobelDirect Groovy. My client has an inside contact with Nobel so he is going to double check with him.
In any case I’m going to check out your suggestion for Darwin as well.
Thank you.
Thank you for your reply.
My client and I are wondering if it’s even possible to restore this tooth/ crown. Contemplating a splinted Cantilever anchored on to the other central (#8) implant (bad idea I think, since #9 failed).
The patient has same implants on upper and lower jaw.
The patient...
Hello everyone.
This implant was placed in Vietnam over 25+ years ago.
My client has no idea what it could be.
I separated the crown from implant and I’m lost.
I checked ’what implant is that?’ Website and it was no help,
Looks like one piece implant with no implant/ abutment interface.
Any ideas?
I see a significant amount of difference in marginal adaptation and integrity. I get good margins and overall fit with 0.6 mm burs but with 0.3 mm burs milling in HD on my Ceramill 5X, the margins are superb (under 1.5 X magnification) and the intaglio fit near 1 mm marginal finish line is snug...
