Yes we mill it and have not had any issues with failures. The material has to be bonded not cemented. And as I said in my original post...it has a place just like everyother material we use in our labs. Use it wisely and in the right situation and it is a viable solution for certain patients.

I agree with chocybunny. Lava Ultimate was just classified as a ceramic by the ADA as of 2013 so can be submitted to insurance as such. It is incredibly easy to produce in the lab which = better profit margin. Lava Ultimate is user friendly for the dentist: easy to adjust, repair, polish, etc...
What investment are you using? Speed or Overnight burnout? We use speed and increased our In ring setting time by 1 min and our bench setting time by 2 mins. Made a big difference.
