Has the Virus made you busy?

I'm in the UK, two weeks ago we were very busy, today I have told the staff not come in after Friday. Fortunately the Government are paying 80% of their wages whilst they are off of work. This is for an initial period of 12 weeks. Estimates of when they will be back vary from 4 moths to a year...

Another compressor thread - Upgrade or new?

The bambi is no good for milling, it's got a 50% duty cycle ie. it cannot run continuously. You'll need filters to get any oil vapour out and driers to remove the moisture whichever compressor you get. Some of the Durr compressors have 100% duty cycle, no idea about the one your looking at. It...

Sintra Plus heating elements and thermocouple repair cost?

Here's a link to the manual: https://shenpaz.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/Sintra_06.8_English.pdf It's a gamble, when he says it's not getting hot enough, what does that actually mean? i.e., does it reach say 1500'c but the Zr looks under fired or that it doesn't reach the desired...

Motor repair on Microstar V3000 dust collector - Suction unit

Just a thought, is the it a left hand thread? I had this on a fan in my oven at home. After much swearing and getting out an angle grinder to remove the nut, I found it undid the opposite way.

    Dynamic abutment ?

if the screw holes are angle corrected, then yes, the holes would be on the lingual side.

    Dynamic abutment ?

Dynamic abutments work very well, if a little expensive. Another option would be having the framework milled, it would probably work out cheaper than 5 Dynamic abutments. A number of companies can angle correct the screw holes if needed.

Hi Sidesh0wb0b, thanks for that, would you press in B1 to achieve B1 or press a shade lighter?

    Monolithic Lisi veneers or cutback

I've got two similar cases on the go at the moment upper 4321/1234 veneers. One is prepped with a 1mm shoulder at the margin, no discoloured preps and a desired shade of B1 The other isn't prepped so heavily at the margin, slightly discoloured preps and desired shade of OM2 I'm thinking the...

    Another custom shade post

I’m struggling with a custom shade. It started in the usual way of the Dr choosing A2 for the shade. Needless to say that was way off. I eventually get to see the patient and the shade is a C2C3 but with a really translucent overlay all over the tooth. I just can’t get the translucency over...

    Sintron problem

I've been using Sintron for two years up till now problem free. Over the last month or so I've had porcelain cracking mostly on single wing marylands and cantilever bridges. The designs have more than adequate support. In the last week the problems got worse. Everything today that I built up on...

    milling help asap

I just scanned through all of the posts really quickly. I'm sure you've sorted this now but I had a similar issue with a tool being to short to mill something even though it was the extra long tool. I just ground the shank down to reduce the diameter. Probably not recommended but worked ok.
