Yes dude! They have strategy of selling really cheap pretty good all arounder maschines, but aftetwards you have to pay for every fart you want to do with system. Its allright but now the whole system is not working properly.

To tell you the truth salary won't get any higher in this field for dental Cad/Cam specialists because software is getting better and more intuitive.
Prices are going lower because of globalization in dental market and competition between local and offshore labs.

In past two weeks Zirkonzahn is implementing new updates of CAD and CAM software (modified Exocad and SUM3D) And thats then sh*t had hit the fan... One problem is following another. They gave it away unfinished and full with issues.
Maybe in North Americas they were more careful and haven't done...
Labline has a double deus in its hands with their ultra fine photos and bad*ss master technician posts... as many other journals are not afraid to publish works and photos from crappy technicians like me :D
Straumann cares scanbodies are not very practical then you have to scan deep under gum, subgingival cases, because PEEK scanbody can be pushed or deformed by presure of soft tissue or nearby bone.
For these situations we merged Medentika scanbodies with straumann original library. Works well.
They are pretty accurate but not very reliable.
SE model was made from home cinema projector fastened with hot glue and all other junk.
Medit blue and light are another story as they are more quality like to their counterparts in USA and Europe.

Only holy thing is that oven with 6 Mo-Si heating elements works perfect with big bridges in comparison with for example DEKEMA with 3-4 Silicium heating elements.
You can still rock out with your thingy out using cheaper units but...
