    Dimpling in Emax press

I've been wanting to know the cause of the dimples too. These are quite large and just one or two in random places, but always fairly near the sprue attachment. I get it sometimes and not others but I can't work out what's different. They are definitely some kind of shrinkage, like a 'suck-back'...

Removing oxide from a pre-polished milled bridge frame

Thanks but what I'm looking for is a way of removing most of the built up oxide layer without touching it, so you only have to lightly buff up the original polished surface again. I'm talking about areas like metal palatals, and the interproximal connectors on a bridge.

    Your opinion please!

Thanks for your comments, it's nice to talk to people who understand how it feels to deal with customers like this one. I've lost two this way but I don't regret either of them, there is no point working for free!

    Your opinion please!

Thanks everyone for your input. Although not many people actually answered my question. LOL. But it has been a good discussion and reminder that there are things I could do to prevent this happening to me again. Cheers!

    Your opinion please!

It's never just one job though is it? It could be a client who is worth a lot of money, but they are just hard to work for. The key is to find the right place to draw the line. In this case, this is probably it!
